One of the highlights of the work with students includes over 3,000 hours of community service, working at festivals such as Riverfest and the Sheboygan Come Together Festival ~ where we served over 250 Ethnic Ice Cream Sundaes (thanks to sponsorship by Culver's). Students also worked at Triathlons, Marathons and various community events ~ and of course our Masters Gallery 5K to stop bullying. Monthly, students visited assisted living residents. Always a hit is Horizons4Girls' annual Christmas cookie delivery to Rocky Knoll, this past Christmas delivering 74 dozen cookies, room to room. Continue reading
Horizons4Girls will hold their 3rd annual Masters Gallery 5K walk/run to prevent & educate Sheboygan County in the awareness of bullying and the affects it has on pre-teens and teens. Having a "Challenge Winner" ~ the highest percentage of donations to student enrollment/membership will receive a $200 grant to begin their own anti-bullying campaign. Continue reading

The experience opened up so many possibilities for non-traditional jobs they might consider - we know a spark or two may have been lit. Horizons4Girls once again was working to "Ignite the Spark" for these young women. Continue reading
Faith inspired me as I prepare for another day of Horizons4Girls. Her Facebook post for today? Faith of Faith's Family & Friends and Horizons4Girls knows it takes a whole village to raise a child & mentors are right there in the mix. Her quote today: "Each person has an ideal, a hope, a dream which represents the soul.
